Dr. Kenton Fedde
Kenton received his B.A. in microbiology from the University of Kansas and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. He then spent 15 years at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis as a post-doctoral fellow, instructor, and faculty member in Department of Medicine.
During his tenure at Washington University, Kenton focused on the molecular, biochemical, and cellular bases of heritable metabolic diseases – primarily bone disorders. In addition to numerous individual investigator awards, he was co-recipient of numerous program project grants supporting research in other endocrine-related diseases.
While at Washington University, Kenton also participated in several consulting projects for start-ups and early R&D companies. Finding rewards in such opportunities to contribute towards moving inventions from the bench to the marketplace, Kenton pursued and received a law degree from Washington University School of Law.
Dr. Fedde’s patent, business, and legal skills and experience were first developed inside Monsanto/Pharmacia/Pfizer (as a Patent Scientist, Assistant General Counsel, & Patent Counsel, respectively). He now has a private practice that provides business, legal, and I.P. support to Venganza, Inc.
